Our aims are modest

To preserve the integrity of this worthy breed by ensuring that our dogs:

  • have earned the respect of our fellow show ring exhibitors
  • comport themselves as proper sheepdogs
  • are keen performers in whatever venue they compete
  • may brighten the dreary hours of the elderly, the handicapped and the unwell
  • and above all, serve as relaxing, affectionate companions for our quiet hours indoors

Our kennel name TOVARIN (“ToVAHrin”) memorializes a Siberian Husky, our first show dog, BISS CH Foxhaunt’s Tovarisch CDX (1960-1970), whose Russian name expressed the tradition of comradeship now so nobly carried on in our Border Collies.
